Lost for words?

So the decision is made – updating the website, buying an advertising space in the local newspaper, issuing a press release or attending a networking meeting.
Now … what to say? How many times have you stared at a blank piece of paper for several minutes before deciding to put it off to another day or written something and then crossed most of it out again?
Many business owners find it hard to talk about their business in a way that is both simple to understand and exciting for customers. Sometimes it’s because they want to say too much, others think no-one will be very interested in them and what they do.
We use a basic messaging structure to help arrive at those all important words. We start by identifying up to three areas of customer need (something they want to change where our product or service can help). We then identify what it is about our product or service that has an edge over the competitors and what belief or behaviour change we want our message to achieve. This usually makes it much easier to work out what we need to say in our message.
If you’re still having difficulty, give us a call on 01905 622 206 or send me an e-mail and we’ll do our very best to help.
Happy writing!
Chris.
