One week on from the election result that shocked us all, another result has been announced that comes as no surprise.
Earlier this week, one of our clients Poston Mill Park was named as the Holiday Park / Village of the Year for 2015, by Visit England. This award builds on a long history of recognition for excellence, including over 10 years holding the David Bellamy Gold award for Conservation and a Five Star Gold award for Quality in Tourism.
Like most award winners, park owners Wayne and Sarah Jones are reaping the rewards of consistent hard work over many years. Their attention to detail and determination to continually improve the experience of their customers has helped identify and implement all the components of an excellent holiday park.
At least as important though, is an in-depth understanding of their customers. The time they have spent on the park talking to customers, from first time visitors to year in, year out regulars has given them the rare ability to see their business from the outside in and spot the opportunities to add real value.
Of course they haven’t done it on their own. They have recruited and shaped a strong team around them on the park and collaborate with family members who market 5 other parks between them under the shared “Bestparks” brand.
